11 of April I went to Romania, Buşteni, for Erasmus+ youth exchange.
After spending 1 week with amazing people from all over the world, I wouldn't come back without visiting some beautiful places in Romania. 🤗🤗🤗
I visited Sinaia, Braşov and Bucharest. 🚂 💨

Our first stop was Siania with all group. We took a train from Buşteni to Sinaia. There was no seat. So we only payed 9 lei and the road took 10 minutes. 😊
Sinaia also called “the Pearl of the Carpathians” . The first inhabitants of this territory were monks who lived at the Sinaia Monastery.

We first started to visit city with Sinaia Monastery. Mihail Cantacuzino built the monastery in 1690 and named it Sinaia. The name was passed on to the town.
Around 20 monks still live here.
The entrance to the monastery was free.
You can be in a peaceful area and to enjoy 😊
We sat in the garden of the monastery and to eat our snacks. After a long walk we rested a bit for the next long walk 😅
Then we kept walking to Peleş castle. We have seen so many wonderful things on the way of Peleş. Small and pastel colored houses of Europe, nice cafes.

There is a long forest road before reaching Peleş Castle. 🌳🌲🌳 There are many small gift shops on the way. Their price isn't expensive to buy gift.
When you reach the castle you are greeted by a flashy sight. Wait at that moment... and follow the spectacular view 🤗
When King Carol I of Romania, under whose reign the country gained its independence, first visited the site of the future castle in 1866, he fell in love with the magnificent mountain scenery. The estate was named the Royal Estate of Sinaia. The King commissioned the construction of a royal hunting preserve and summer retreat on the property, and the foundation was laid for Peleș Castle on 22 August 1873. Several auxiliary buildings were built simultaneously with the castle: the guards' chambers, the Economat Building, the Foișor hunting lodge, the royal stables, and a power plant.
*** Peleș became the world's first castle fully powered by locally produced electricity. ***
Peles was summer residence for the first royal couple of Romania, King Carol I and Queen Elisabeth.
You can visit garden and cofes in the garden is free.
We couldn't visit inside the castle because when we got there, the castle was already close :(

I think Peles Castle is the best place in Romania. I love this place. 👌🏻
A building with all ostentatious architecture 👌🏻 👌🏻 👌🏻
Peleş contains a large armory collection, secret passages, imperial suit, a hall of mirrors, stone lions and everything a fairytale castle should have.
Set in peaceful forests and mountain meadows, away from the bustle of Sinaia. 😊
SECOND STOP IS " Pelișor Castle "

Pelișor Castle is a castle in Sinaia,it is part of the same complex as Peleș. It is next to Peleş Castle.
It was built by orders of King Carol I for his nephew Ferdinand, the future king of Romania and his wife Queen Marie.
Queen Marie herself has made many of the artistic decorations. 😮
I call it " Ceramic catle ". Because Castle has a colorful and bright section. 😉
and last stop in Sinaia is " Central park " ⬇⬇⬇

Nice park with beautiful old buildings surrounding it. There is also a small museum in the park.
Sinaia is the place where over time many Romanian personalities lived and dies: King Carol I, King Ferdinand and Queen Marie of Romania.
Our second city is Braşov.

I went there with some of my friends from Erasmus + and there I met my good friend Ioana.
She is from Romania and our tourist guide 😄
Once again I realized how small the world is
I met Ioana in istanbul on December 2018 and after 3 months i met her again in Romania.
I didn't think I'd come to her country very soon. But I'm here for some reasons and this is good chance to meet each other 😊
And the other good thing is she had birthday this month 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Celebration time !!!
And in the patisserie I realized everythings here is made of Rom. :/ chocolates,cakes,...etc
It has colorful old town as all Europe countries have. Old town is the most beautiful, charming, cutest and most important part of this city. 😄
I feel myself in a fairytale here. I'm not in 21 century anymore. It's like traveling in time 💫
I really like feeling that way. 😇
Brașov is a city in the Transylvania region of Romania. It's known for its medieval Saxon walls and bastions, the towering Gothic-style Black Church and lively cafes. Piaţa Sfatului ( Town Hall Square ) in the cobbled old town is surrounded by colorful baroque buildings and is home to the Casa Sfatului, a former town hall turned local history museum.

Take a peek inside the Black Church , the largest gothic church in Romania. Its name derives from damage caused by the Great Fire of 1689, when flames and smoke blackened its walls. The interior is impressive and well-kept and houses one of the largest organs in Eastern Europe. 🔥🔥🔥

There is a very nice park in the city but like it is far from the city. When you passed this gate, the atmosphere is changing. The city becomes quieter. You can hear bird sounds more clearly. 😇😇😇
On the west side of the wall you can see the 15th-century White and Black Towers. On top of these towers, you can see amazing view of old town. But you need to climb the stairs for that. 😅 Challenge to see view 😷
One of the most singularly beautiful spots in Brasov is the Council Square or Piata Sfatului. A colorful street full of people. 🌺🍀
And one more place in Braşov is " Tampa Mountain "

I couldn't go up Because I didn't have enough time.
You can see all city from up. The name of the city is written there.
Above the Weavers' Bastion, along the southeastern side of the fortress walls, there is an alley (Aleea Tiberiu Brediceanu), shaded by old trees and dotted with benches. From here, one can hike to the top of Tampa Mountain, where the original defensive fortress was built.
When Vlad Tepes attacked Brasov in 1458-60, the citadel was destroyed'.
40 merchants who refused to pay trade taxes were impaled on top of the mountain.
Walking to the top takes about 1 hour. 🚶♀
If you don't have time like me or you are not in the right mood for hiking, You can go up by cable car. It is 3,200 feet high.
After spending one night in Braşov we had a train to Bucharest early in the morning. And time to say goodbye to friends 😢
I really don't like this part. You spend all your time with your friend and when you say goodbye to them, you have miles between you and them. They become a good memories on your human book. You can or can't see each other again . Who knows? 😕 I keep all memories on me.
I hope see all again 🙏
(Guys...I hate all of you, but I like your smiles. 😜 Me encanta tu sonrisa)
It was very meaningful that you came to say goodbye to us early in the morning.
( Before passing Braşov section, I would like to give you a advice . I found really cheap and i found an accommodation that cheap and has nice location. It is in the old town. It calls " Leyla's guest house". When I see the name of accommodation, I thought it is Turkish hotel. But Lady ,owner of the guest house, is from Italy. 😄 I asked her "why your hotel name is Turkish name?" she told us "I think that the Turks will become stronger in the future and Turks will have the economy" Beautiful perspective. I'm flattered 😊 )
After sad moments Ioana and me took a trein to Bucharest.
The train price a bit expensive in Romania. Because of this we took the cheapest train. It is not a fast train and we gave our all morning to road.
One detail ❗❗ Train is free for all students in Romania. But I am not student in Romania. So it is not free for me 😅
When we arrived to Bucharest we had 2 hours before geting dark . We took a walk in city.
In my opinion Buchares is a nice city but nothing special about this city. It is like many other big city. I prefer more local places to feel that country culture. And I saw a lot of homeless people here more than the other european country.
And hostels, hotels are more expensive than the other cities in Romania.
On my last night in Romania I was lucky Because There were activities in the city.

We went Spotlight fest 2019.
Bright streets,musics,people,...It was amazing 😊😊😊
To get lost in streets, between people.

Light shows, games, international street foods (italian, chinese, romanian, turkish ...etc) 😋

The most known traditional drink in Romania is Palinca. It is a liquor. that drink is highly alcoholic, the most well-known being traditional plum palinca. It is deemed one of the traditional Romanian spirits given its unique taste, as well as because it is 100 % natural. This traditional spirit can reach up to 65º.
Guests are welcomed with palinca instead of coffee.
And I found this bottle. I really like it's design. Two important things from Romania in a gift. Dracula and traditional drink Palinca. 😄
If you like Transilvania stories like me, it might caught your attention 🎃

I put all the Romania memories in a snow globe that I bought from Romania. 😍
***see you on my next trip***
