Hello 😊
My cousin came to Turkey, Izmir for Erasmus. We both love to travel. So we decided to visit places around İzmir 😉
I was lucky at that moment. We have 3th airport in Turkey and THY has campaign for the first flights. Flights to many cities in Turkey was 51 tl. So I took a ticket only 51 tl. It was supper cheap ticket 🎉
We made trip plan. To visit Ephesus and Alaçatı.

We took a train from İzmir railway station to Selçuklu. Then We took a bus to Ancient City of Ephesu. The bus took 10 minutes. After bus there is 10 minutes walk.
We had Müzekart. Free entries to the ancient city with card. The otherwise ticket is 40 tl
Ephesus is in UNESCO World Heritage Site. 9000 years of ancient city 👴👵 In ancient times, Ephesus was one of the most important trade and port cities in the region. We can examine the living conditions of that period.
Ephesus; at the same time Hz. Mary, Hz. The place where the Ecumenical Council, where Jesus was accepted as his mother, took place.
If you are interested in early Christianity, there is much to discover in Ephesus.

First you are gonna see Great Theater. It is considered one of the largest ancient theaters in the world. The theater has a capacity of 25,000 people.

The Celsus Library that the most spectacular structure of the area welcomes you after the grand theater.

Icon of Ephesus...😍😮 The structure is admirable.😍😍😍
The building, built between 100-110, is a tomb built in memory of Senator Celsus. It was then converted to a library.
4 sculptures will attract your attention. The statues have meanings they represent.
➡ Intuition of Celsus
➡ The virtue of Celsus
➡ The ability of Philippus
➡ The wisdom of Celsus
In front of the library you can see many bride and groom. They come there for wedding pictures😄👰
There is a large market place next to the library.

There is nice structures on the left side of the library. You can go up and to see library view from observation terrace.

Walking on the road. Nike greets you..😊

Nike, mentioned in Greek mythology, means victory.
Nike's headless and winged statue was found in 1863. According to the locals on the island, it is believed that this was the birthplace of Nike. The statue is made of white paros marble. The difference between the beginning of the right wing and the left wing of the statue is visible. The recess at the beginning of the right wing shows the effect of the wind on the island of Samothrace.
Turkey goddess of victory Nike's relief - can be seen in the ancient city of Ephesus complex. The laurel leaf is depicted in one hand and holds palm branches in the other.
Last structure is Small Theater

You need to spend all day in Ephesus. Enjoy with greek history. 😊😊
I really recommend you to visit there 😊

Goodbye from Izmir 😘
